Our Commitment:

Together, we're making an impact. You can see right away that our rug collection is absolutely exceptional and a true work of art. But did you know that by choosing to purchase with Little River, you're helping to change the lives of the people who made it? We are proud of a lot of things here, but are most proud of the work done when a rug is purchased with us.

Our rugs are fairly-traded on the front end, but we also work with non-profit organizations in carpet-weaving communities worldwide. They are funded by rug sales, both wholesale and retail, and benefit our refugee weavers, their families and their communities. {We partner with many refugee weavers: Afghans, now located in the Lahore area of Pakistan, and Tibetans now in Nepal.}

From building schools and medical facilities, to supplying textbooks and clean water systems, they also support economic development and women empowerment, among many other missions.
